Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark

There are doings afoot in the world of Stealer.

For the past four years we have enjoyed the use of a sumptuously appointed rehearsal facility known only as the Secret Location. This summer the Secret Location is undergoing some refurbishment so the proprietors have kindly offered us the use of a different Location.

This new Location is so Secret that some members of the band cannot yet find it reliably, and even after they have found it require directions on how to get back to the rest of the world. Here is a picture (by Craig) of its expansive spaces ...
... and here is Kevin testing some of its facilities. How we laughed on the way to A&E.
Meanwhile, guitarist Gary has added a little something to the range of colourful metal boxes at his feet that packs a punch quite out of proportion to its tiny size. In accordance with the current mood of secrecy, he hasn't allowed its precise nature to be documented on the band biog page, preferring to refer to it as his Secret Ingredient.

While all this has been going on we have been trying out some new material with which to refresh our set for the upcoming autumn season. Needless to say details of this new material are entirely secret.

Our gig list, however, is not. You can find all the dates on our gig page, and we hope to see at least some of you at some of them. For the hard-of-linking, here they are, below. Why not out print this list and stick to some handy surface (Fridge/Forehead/Cat/Other, delete as applicable) as a reminder?

We start on Friday 9th September at the Grapes in Bury St Edmunds, but for those of you closer to Norwich we recommend you come see us at the Brickmakers on Friday 30 September. Bring a friend. Or bring two friends. Bring a busload of friends. If you haven't got as many friends as that, pull random people in off the street. It's a big place, and we'd like to fill it. If you can't wait until then for a dose of Stealer, you can listen to recent live tracks on our audio page.

Something to say? Sure - go ahead. Play nice, though.
