Dear Diary - just to say we had a great rehearsal last night at the Secret Location - the first we've had as a whole band for quite some time, what with the constant efforts of life, illness and other stuff trying to derail us. But we laugh in the face of such things, and it was great to be in a rehearsal room all together, at once, in the same place, simultaneously, and at the same time. We've got a great new song to unleash at our next gig (30th November, Kings Head in Loddon) and have lined up a whole load of great new numbers to try out in the next few weeks and months.
But the most important thing is that we've made the momentous decision to buy a new stage monitor. Despite the valiant attempts of Craig And His Soldering Iron to keep it going, our old Wharfdale powered monitor has played its last, shuffled off its mortal coil and gone to join the Choir Invisible. So, being the democracy that we are, we held a vote, and Craig has been authorised to raid the band piggy bank and get a new one, you know, from a shop, with a guarantee and all.
In other news, Paul still can't find his pussy.
Oh, before I go, we did a great gig last week at the Lord Nelson in Gorleston at which this Mysterious Hooded Figure appeared. Not sure where it came from, or why. Probably best not inquire too closely ...
